Greetings from St. Joseph Syro-Malabar Parish Perth and SMC Catechism Department, Perth!

I am glad to inform you that Bible Kalolsavam 2025, the Biblical competitions for the catechism students of the parish, will be held on 12th April, 10th May and 24th May. Kindly see the details of the competitions attached and prepare your children for the great event.

Venue:

April 12 : Writing competitions will be held at each center: the Parish Hall for Orange Grove children, and at their respective centers for Willetton, Embleton, and Joondalup.

May 10 : Event will take place on Saturday at the Parish Hall.

May 24 : Event will be held at Camp Wattle Grove.

The Orange Grove has been divided into three groups for the Bible Kalolsavam to ensure smooth proceedings:

Group 1 : Armadale, Canningvale South, Canningvale North, Success

Group 2 : Piarawaters, Aspiri, Harrisdale North, Harrisdale South

Group 3 : Maddington, Wattlegrove, Cannington, East Cannington, Wilson, Redcliffe

Bible Kalolsavam is conducted exclusively for students attending catechism in our parish at Joondalup, Embleton, Willetton and Orange Grove centres. This is a great opportunity for our kids to showcase their talents, to grow in confidence, to know the Bible more and to love our faith. It is also a part of catechetical training. Therefore, let us all cooperate with the catechism department to make it a great success.
